About Elad Itzkin

Elad Itzkin is a Berlin-based photographer working at the intersection of light, paint, and skin. His studio sits in Gesundbrunnen, where every UV shoot happens the same way: the model is painted with skin-safe, cosmetic-grade UV-reactive pigment, the room goes fully dark, and UV light brings the design to life, glowing color against pure black with nothing else in the frame.

The work splits into two distinct bodies. The UV neon gallery is the core of it: bold, saturated bodypainting photographed in total darkness, built in collaboration with bodypainters from Berlin and beyond. Alongside it, a fine-art collection takes a different, more classical approach, portraiture, Shibari, and other work shot in natural light, without the neon signature the UV series is known for.

Every image is a collaboration. Elad Itzkin shoots and, on many pieces, paints the design himself; on others he works with bodypainters such as Joana Rohr and Claudia Kraemer, each bringing their own style to the canvas. Every photograph credits the people who made it, model and bodypainter alike, because the work only exists when they show up to make it together. Elad is always happy to connect with new creatives, models, bodypainters, and collaborators for future work.
